MSA Scottish Rally Championship 2011 - Official Supporter

MotoGF has joined the Scottish Rally Championship as an Official Supporter for the 2011 season.

The Scottish Rally Championship consists of 7 forest and 1 tarmac event which take place across the length and breadth of the country.

All the events are organised by local car clubs recognised by the sport's UK governing body, the Motor Sports Association.

Team Aberdeen University Racing (TAU Racing) 2011 - Sponsor

MotoGF will be sponsoring the TAU Racing Team for the 2010/11 season. The team of Engineering students will be competing in the 2011 Formula Student (FS2011) competition, run by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Formula Student (FS) is a breeding ground for world class engineers. It challenges university students from around the world to design and build a single-seat racing car, which is then put to the test at the famous Silverstone Circuit.

Its key aims are to inspire the next generation and address the skills shortage in engineering. The way FS achieves this is by providing crucial practical experience and transferable skills for use in a diverse range of industries.

MotoGF will supply equipment for the build, including hand tools and fastening products.

Team Stevie Brown (Scottish Rally Championship) - Official Sponsor

MotoGF will partner Scottish rally ace Stevie Brown and co-driver Andrew Roughead as they tackle the 2011 MSA Scottish Rally Championship in a Subaru Impreza.

Stevie, the inaugural winner of the Colin McRae Tribute award says he is excited to be working with motoGF. “From MotoGP to the Dakar Rally, motoGF have worked at the top levels in so many different disciplines of motorsport, and not only boast an exciting heritage, but a huge amount of technical knowhow and quality tools to back it up. In a championship where we’re chasing every second, we need equipment that we can rely on, and so it’s reassuring to know the team have the very best professional tools to work with.”

IMI SkillAuto AutoTech Competition 2011 - Premier Workwear Supplier

MotoGF has been announced as the workwear supplier for the 2010/11 SkillAuto competitions. The IMI manage the SkillAuto competitions in association with UK Skills, part of WorldSkills UK.
